Yesterday and today....

Things are going really well physically. I've been feeling great, however, my strength, vision and balance have been getting worse since this last August. They are not as bad as they were after the August 1, 2005 surgery. However, just this week in the house I have started using the wheelchair and a hospital bed.
Hopefully with the 16 sessions of radiation I'm going to build my strength, balance and vision back up to not needing the wheelchair or hospital bed.
I've never talked about my emotional side. The main thing that gets on my nerves from time to time is simply when I make a suggestion and individuals take offense to it. Please don't take offense to this. I'm only making a suggestion to protect myself from harm.
If you have any questions on anything don't be afraid to ask. I will do my best to answer them. None of us have ever been through this so we are blind.
Have a great night.

Justin, I started student teaching at CHS this morning. I'll be there for the next 8 weeks. Good to see so many COG folks on staff there. People have you in their thoughts / prayers at that school and your blog was mentioned.
Last week a 3rd grade math teacher showed me a student's paper. She had instructed the students to write really, really big on their papers. The paper had these words: REALLY REALLY BIG...!!!
I take the Praxis test tomorrow- reading, writing, and math. Good thing that there is a practise book or I would have no idea what a "mode" or "median" is. Has math always come easy to you or did you build your interest over time?

Keep throwing those punches - I know you'll beat this thing. I've got Friday open and would like to make a trek out yonder to see you. I'll give you call to see if your schedule is open. Burke is a busy body these days and very talkative. Can't wait for you to see him.

"Dear God, please make JJ well now. Give him strength to heal, destroy all adverse side effects of his treatments and remove the cancer from his body. Thank you God for all your wonderful blessings"!!!

Love you -

Hey JJ, sorry about last night!! As the first day of classes today, it went pretty well... it's definitely hard to get back in the swing of things again though! When do you have radiation again or gonna be around because I don't believe I work on Thursday if you wanted to do lunch or something... otherwise maybe Zach and I could come out that night or we'll definitely plan something for next week! I admire your courage buddy, love you sooooo much!! Hope you had a great time w/Rick! Talk to ya later, JJ...

Hugs and prayers, Chantel

It's no problem. On Thursday night that should be fine. What time are you guys thinking? My radiation the rest of the way will be at 12:30 in the afternoon ... so I will be done at 1:00 or shortly after. Lunch is the one time that doesn't work for me ... it's so sporadic that I just don't know what time I'll get out of there. Thank you! Love you, Cous

Amber, you guys have a lot more people to work around and I have nothing going on. If you want me to decide it will add stress onto myself that I really don't need in my life right now. So you guys just decide and let me know.
