Bad News...

As if things couldn't get worse, I found out the cancer is getting worse in my spine, but mostly gone in my brain. Anyhow, we are not going to do the BBBD anymore, it's not getting the spine. So on Monday they'll try to figure out a new plan, it's back to the drawing board. Hopefully the next plan works better. This afternoon has been full of tears, not the news I wanted. Life goes on. I'll have more on Monday, til then lots of prayer appreciated.

Dear JJ,
I hope you feel better. After we heard the results of the tests we started crying because we only want you to get better. So again hope you feel better and see you soon.

Love
Logan

P.S. I have my first wrestling tournament on Sunday. Mom said she will take videos and email them to you.

Hey JJ,

What a tough day . . . it's tough to find the right words to say. Continue to maintain your amazing outlook. Trust in the Lord and he will give you strength. We are praying that God is with your team of oncologists to guide them in planning your next course of action. And may God grant you and your family peace to trust in him and his plan for you.

Sending you love, prayers, and e-hugs. Lots of love - Tami

Heide, Please call. Maybe for an afternoon or something. My parents and I are going through a lot right and one more person isn't going to help us sulk, but at the same time won't hurt either. Anything to help get my mind away for a little while helps.
Thanks Auntie.

JJ,

I was out of town the last few days, but had heard about your bad news from my dad and uncle Tim. Let's just say that I have a sore throat from trying to choke back all the tears the last couple of days. The thoughts that still come to my mind in reading all the comments people have posted and your responses are a) you have so many friends and family members that you mean so much to, and that love you so much, it is amazing to see all the outpouring of love and support. b) your faith, resiliency, outlook on life, perspective, and attitude amaze me more and more with everything you've had to endure. I can't imagine how hard it's been on you and your family, but you still maintain your faith and amazingly positive outlook on things. You have proven to us what's been taught to all of us since we were little, that faith and family are the most important things in life, and they are bonds that cannot be broken, no matter what. My thoughts and prayers are with you, may your faith and strenght see you through this.

Love,
your cous - Trevor

ps. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't write something on a lighter note here. Good to see the gophs got a win the other night. I might have to renegotiate my bet with Tim. I took the under on 2 big ten wins.
