Friday

From Justin:

Friday was mostly a driving day. We took off from our hotel near the Grand Canyon and checked the scenery as we left … but mostly just drove from Arizona to Colorado today. I have never made this drive before, so it was quite relaxing. We are not quite to Colorado Springs yet, but we are closing in rapidly. In Colorado Springs, I'm going to spend the rest of tonight with friends. Tomorrow we reserved a conference room at the hotel for about 4.5 hours to spend time with friends. We are staying again at the Hampton Inn Express … and it should be a lot of fun. I just cannot wait to get some quality shuteye. Today has been a lot of driving … and it's going to be darn sweet to get out of the RV. Believe it or not, I think that's everything.

Hey JJ,

I just have one request, and I think the fellow blog watchers may agree. We need a picture of the crew in front of the "mobile village" so we can all see what this community on wheels of yours looks like.

The trip sounds amazing. Beautiful sites in beautiful cities. Thanks for taking us all along. May God continue to ride shotgun.

You are missing quite the storm back here in MN. Heavy snow and ice storms. Tonight for the first time in my life, the entire sky was illuminated with branches of lightning boldts reflecting a heavy blanket of snow which cover the entire ground. It just goes to show how truly amazing nature is around us.

I love ya JJ!

Love from LaCrescent,
Tami

Justin,

My, That's some group photo!! It looks like the Colorado crew enjoys spending time with the "J" team captain, I love the smiles.

I agree with Tami, the blog watchers should see the traveling "J" Town mobile.

No snow or lightning in B'ham.

take care,

uncle Ricky

Hey Justin,

I've really enjoyed traveling along. It feels like we are a part of your adventures. It's fun seeing the pictures and the happy times you are experiencing. I'm sure you've made alot of memorable moments to share with all of us.

We are having quite a Minnesota snowstorm-Don had to plow some 4 foot drifts this morning so the milk hauler could get in the driveway!!It was sleeting this afternoon with more snow expected. There is actually a winter storm warning until 6 pm tomorrow night!!!

I bet you had an AWESOME time with your friends today!! I'm sure Jeni and Kyle and boys are anxiously planning your arrival!!

The Lord has truly been with you-for your safety and health-for this all to take place!!! THANK YOU LORD!!

My Love,

Auntie Heide

JJ,

I am pretty pumped that you will be here in Wichita Ks TODAY!! I am guessing that the trip along I-70 through western Kansas has been one of the most scenic so far. Well the boys will be at the window awaiting your arrival.

Love you,
Kyle
