Working with others
I hope you all consider us a team, because right now I depend on each and every one of you. First I want to thank everyone for the support you offer when you are with me, and the support you offer when you are not around. I hope you all have fun when you come to visit me. I love seeing all of you but sometimes I need my rest. The treatments and meds really wear me out and sometimes I just need to sleep. It's taking a lot for me to let people know that they don't need to stay with me. I will let you know if I am too tired. With what I am going through I often become too tired and need to take a little nap. I hope none of you take offense to this. Thanks again for all of your support and keep the positive energy in the room.

JJ,
I'm very happy that my mom sent me the link to this blog, its incredible to read your day to day thoughts and progress. I wanted to tell you how proud i am of you and so happy you're staying so strong. I wish i could have made it up to the wedding to see you! I heard it was a great time! I want to make it up there to see you sometime soon, but in the meantime stay strong family, you're in my daily thoughts and prayers. Love you family and can't wait to see you soon.

Hey Kuke,
I'm just getting ready for work but thought I would share this dream I had last night real quick.
In my dream I woke up to you sitting on the edge of the bed shaking my foot. I woke up startled and extremely confused so I asked
"Kuke!, what the heck are you doing here and how did you get to Florida so fast?
"Relax buddy", you told me. "I'm here to tell you that I'm all better now and for you to grab your baseball bat and glove and let's go play some home run derby!"
"Hell ya, I yelled". So off to play homerun derby we went, to that field we would sometimes play at in Colorado Springs. You beat me 6 homers to my 4, (only because you kept throwing like a girl and wouldn't give me any good pitches to hit), but the important part of the dream is we will be playing some homerun derby soon. Keep fightin buddy and let me know when you are ready to play. Talk to you soon

Justin...
You continue to amaze us all. Always thinking of others!
I have to say that I know you mostly through your mom and Bob.
Especially through your mom's twinkling eyes. She and I have talked about you and Kyle for l4 years now. I was always interested to know what was up in your lives and she was always happy, so happy, to tell me.
Your mom's eyes light up like the rising sun when she talks about her boy's and now her grandson's. She is very blessed to have such great kids.
I've seen you grow into a strong yet warm and loving man who follows Christ. It is inspiring!
Stay strong and know that we are on your team!
Love,
Dawn and family

Thank you for your honesty and heartfelt words for your "team." Your thoughts and feelings are important and it is our job to respect what you need. You are loved. We are here for you in any way that is right for you and honoring your wishes is very easy for us to do.
Blessings and Love,
Aunt Joan
Just heading home from work. I hope you were able to relax enough for the MRI. Since your dad said he wasn't sure if you'd be at the hospital or home tomorrow-at the time we'd arrive-we may come another day that works out better. I'll call!!
TEAM JUSTIN PRAYERS!!!
I LOVE YOU!

Hey Justin,
I am a friend of your mom's and met her after I moved to Waconia from New Jersey in 12/06. As I have grown to know her better I am touched and amazed at her strength, calmness, sense of humor and dignity. She is one of the coolest women I have met, ever. So, if she is just one example of the love you have around you, you are one lucky guy. Based on the comments on the Blog, your entire network is incredible. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Justin,
I met your mother just this past spring/summer and her strength, faith, serenity and love for her family radiates from her. After watching your tribute, her eyes are what always caught me, and you've got them too, along with her/your beautiful smile. I will be praying for all of you. Thank you for sharing your courageous strength, your unending faith; you are an inspiration to all who read your blog and who have been fortunate to have met you and to know you.
Prayerfully,
Jennifer Gans
Hi JJ
Your friend created a very touching and moving video. The star is even more moving and about as incredible as one can get. Talked to GM.K last night she mentioned you were in the hospital. Hope they're feeding so you can get the next round of treatments completed before the SUPER BOWL. By the way who are you pulling for? Sleep well!
